Diner pour deux

September 10, 2014 by Kirralee 10 Comments

Perhaps it will be possible to schedule a romantic dinner for two on your next trip. Perhaps not. Perhaps you don’t even get to share a room with your partner on holiday because you need multiple rooms with an adult in each. A holiday might be when you get to re-connect, or perhaps it’s easier to save couple-time for home where there’s babysitters you know and trust available.

For hubster and I, we have loved going to Fiji for the last few years because we do get the opportunity to reconnect there with kids clubs and nannies easily accessed. But as the kids are getting bigger, we’re getting a bit more ambitious with our travel plans. Europe perhaps? Or the US? My research into Japan is even convincing me that that would be an amazing destination. I’m not sure hubster and I will get much alone time on these trips.

But there will be adventures to be had and plenty of time for a date night once we get home.

  • Raychael aka Mystery Case

I might need to ‘case’ that Katies dress. Gorgeous! I’m dreaming of a family adventure but thanks to hubbies work deadlines and also Miss 16’s 26k braces, it’s a long way off.

    • Kirralee

I am so tempted to buy it myself Raychael. Especially while it’s on sale! I thought it might be a bit short, but apparently the model is 175cm tall so I’m thinking it might be quite do-able. Life definitely gets in the way of lovely things like holidays sometimes doesn’t it. What’s the 26k? That’s not the cost is it???

  • Vicki | Style On V

Oh I just love both the clutches and the shoes. Style perfection lovely lady. V x

    • Kirralee @ Escape With Kids

Aren’t they gorgeous! I especially love the bohemian traders pink clutch. I’m not a boho girl generally, but a little touch of it is perfection!

  • Bev from Iris May Style

Ooooh I do love a wedge…Super easy to wear all day long too! xx

    • Kirralee

Absolutely! The Mollini ones especially seem like a great height that you could comfortably wear them all day, as well as feeling smart if you wore them out to dinner.

  • Kim-Marie from Kimba Likes

    Love love love these looks!

Thanks for joining Wardrobe Wednesday x

    • Kirralee

      Thanks Kimba 🙂

  • Janet aka Middle Aged Mama

I am in love with both pairs of shoes and want them in my wardrobe right now!

    • Kirralee

I’m trying so hard to resist buying them myself Janet!

So excited to make this list!
