A big celebration

Do you ever get the chance for a night out on holidays? When we visit family we often get the chance while the grandparents spend time with the kids. This dress travels so well and takes up so little space in the suitcase. It’s my current fav for wearing to any appropriate occasion.

This time is for my lovely girlfriend’s 40th birthday dinner. It’s amazingly flattering and has a very comfortable elastic waist. Country Road is fantastic for this sort of timeless frock. Have you seen their Outlet site? Amazing bargains. This dress is currently $49.95 (was $249)!!

I love that dress, the style, the colour and everything! And I have my eye on a bag just like that because I’m celebrating quitting my job! Of course, I’ll need the bag in case I am lucky enough to find a new position!

    Doh! I didn’t realise there was a gallery! Woot! Yeah, I missed it but that might be because I was too mesmerised by the red dress and ace handbag.   The Outlet is worth popping into from time to time Shannon. They might not have anything nice or it might not be in your size, but there are some absolute treasures in there sometimes!

I love every one of those outfits! I’m a big fan of tunics with leggings and that red dress is gorgeous. Never knew about the Country Road Outlet site – thanks for that tip! I also learnt a new word – “snood”. I love scarves and that snood looks very toasty!

  A snood is an excellent word to know in winter! The best ones are one continuous loop big enough to fit around your neck twice comfortably. Seed has some lovely ones.
